He foupd out that this was all a mistake and he had to come back here. Shows incompetence of the government. Frank freil lives on the same block as Police Inspector danny castro. Freil and other neighbors say they arent sure theyve seen him recently. But some were so sure they called nbc 10 news to tell us. Tonight, federal sources confirmed. It was true. A big mistake was made. Castro was let out of prison two years early. In november, 2011, he was sentenced to five years behind bars. Castro says there was a clerical error where a probation officer recently thought castro was eligible for a home monitoring program. Castro prepared for his release for over a month and had a job lined up with ups. According to his attorney, castro was home for two weeks before the feds realized theyd made a big mistake.
