trump s turmoil turned inward saturday. a new fight spilled into public view. long time business ally and adviser, roger stone is out. stone provided his resignation letter which cited the current controversies involving personalities and provocative media fights. stone wrote, i no longer can remain involved in your campaign. more controversy. the campaign claimed mr. trump fired roger stone. and the reason they gave. that roger wanted to use the campaign for his own publicity. trump s top iowa campaign aide and former contest tant on his show the apprentice, tana girts likes his combative style. of course his tone will change when he s president. if you go after him, he s sending in the missiles right now. reporter: that has bnt donald trump method. when he s attacked, he attacks back. some of the candidates will be reluctant to go after him. criticizing his words but not discouraging him from participating in the race. many of the conservatives we ve talked to say t
video from a viewer shows it s intensity and darnel fisher felt it. it was so intense you could feel it as you came out. firefighters say that two people jumped from a home and this neighbor saw a woman running after getting her kids out safely. she had two babies in her hand and was running down the street and saying to the other two kids come, come, come. and she ran down the street. this was done deliberately. arson investigators spent the morning sifting through the debris and that they took the person of interest in custody at the scene but so far no charges are filed. we had a conflict between the sheriff s office and the tenent there in the process of being evicted. the red cross arrived and helped victims get medication and food. the red cross says that at this point they are assisting at least 20 people in this fire alone, they say this is only the fourth fire they had in south jersey so they are helping multiple families in the area for the past week. re
report that questioned whether bates was fit for duty. exxon mobil says it is de selling its refinery in torrance, california. it has been shut since a tremendous explosion last february. we found out the disaster was nearly a catastrophe. look at the damage to this portion of the refinery were when part of this refinery blew up in february south of los angeles smoke filled the sky and ash rained down on nearby neighborhoods. it was scary. reporter: her family lives a mile from the plant and felt the blast. so strong it registered 1.7 on the richter scale. thought it was an earthquake because it shook and it was loud, big boom. reporter: four workers were injured. at the time exxon mobile told residents there was no danger to the community. cbs news learned it could have been much worse. we were really, really lucky. reporter: vanessa sutterland, the recently appointed head of the chemical safety board, the federal agency charged with investigating the acciden
