56% yesterday morning. the nuns fire, made up of several fires in snow ma county, has burned 48,627 acres. it s now 40% contain. yesterday it was just 25% contained. so a big increase there. and the tubbs fire in the calustoga area has burned almost 45,000 acres, and it is now 60% contained. of the 40 fire deaths, 22 were in snow ma county. more victims were identified yesterday. they were 82-year-old carmen colleen mcreynolds, sharon ray robinson, 72-year- old lee chadwick roger, and 71-year-old daniel martin solier. we want to show you this cal fire map. you can get a sense how close the major fires are to each other. the nuns fire has the lowest containment, again, only 40%. it is still moving northward at a slow pace, but it is driven by steep slopes and very dry brush. steve, you see rain. that was the last wind event in this pattern. today will be warm, but there s the possibility of rain into the week, thursday into friday. with all the fires, we could sure use

two miles west of highway 29. there you can see his water tender. it lost control and went over the edge of the road there. this happened around 6:50 this marking. this is one of the steepest roads in napa county. the driver came around this bend, his rig and empty tender rolled sideways, and landed upside down on the side of a very, very steep hill. there are skid marks on the road, but chp isn t sure that indicates he applied his breaks before the accident. they will perform a mechanical inspection to see if his equipment failed. they will investigate whether he was driving too fast and the also see if fatigue played a factor. cal fire points out this is the eighth day of this fire fight here in wine country. everyone is getting tired. there have been no breaks for the firefighters since the fires erupted last sunday evening. and so, yes, people are getting tired and that is a factor that we are aware of. we consider it in our daily activities and we work to sbat against
