Congressional districts this issue is front of mind because republicans are dropping about a billion dollars on it. michelle, you wrote about how republicans have wielded this in the midterms and what it means and what was your take on it? i think two things. one, you have the democratic candidate for governor in oregon trying to do something which is quite tricky which is save this problem of homelessness of in portland. it s very visible, kind of shocking if you are in new york because it s so much more visible and present there for a bunch of complicated reasons than it is here. she s trying to make this argument which i think is right but difficult to make that this is due to kind of poor implementation as opposed to because liberal, hippie portland brought it on itself. but i do think it s really important for democrats to a, acknowledge peoples sense of ....
