Officials in afghanistan say at least 30 people have been killed and more than 150 others injured in a blast near a school in the capital, kabul. Some reports have put the death toll as high as 55. Many of those who died were schoolgirls who had just finished class and were streaming out of the gates at the time of the attack. Most of the people living in the district in western kabul are part of the shia hazara community, who have been targeted repeatedly in recent years by the islamic state group. The taliban have condemned the attack. Our correspondent secunder kermani has more details. Panic, fear and bloodshed outside the school gates. spend nearly a decade relying on russian soyuz rockets to get our astronauts up to the international space station. brianna, the other thing that was so remarkable is the fact that the turnaround time on monday, crew 2, the previous crew, splashed down. and less than 48 hours we saw the launch of crew 3. nasa said that was the shortest turnaround between a splashdown and launch in human space flight history. so this is all important because this is exactly the moment that spacex and nasa have been working towards for so many years, this rapid reusability, this quick turnaround time to make space flight to orbit and eventually the moon and mars much faster. it was exciting to watch last night. it was. that turnaround time i think is what is striking. it s like they re coming up, they re going. it is just very regular. it s regular. and it s up to us to make it to remind folks that it is so incredible what they are doing. they just make it look easy. it really is. krist
