City up for or at least support a deal to sign the city up for ongoing commitment that might force service cuts. Workers have agreed to suspend the strike for 24 hours given the city council time to approve the terms during a closed session tomorrow. At least six city councilmembers must approve that deal and that it will go back to the union for member approval.
