The collective ne 49er faithful work home does brock hurt he took the field. He looked sharp. He only played one series but completed four of his five passes for 65 yards. He also ran for eight yards. Expect to see more from him on friday as the head coach says he plans to play all of his available starters against the chargers in the preseason finale. For now both shanahan and purdy are pleased with the progress. To be able to drive and take some hits and get right up and run a play again after that, it is part of the game and honestly it helps me settle into the game. I thought it was pretty good to be able to go through that. He has just been doing a good job at practice, when we started out i didnt think i would go to the third game but after the week of practice i wanted to get him out there with the starters. Try to get him one drive and i told him if we went three and out i was not sure what we would do but i was glad. I feel really good and honestly even with one day off in three days in a row i feel good about that. He has done it again, we are running out of used to say about leno messy. At seven games he scored in all of them. This one was amazing. He has five defenders on him, it does not matter he still find space as messy in milan when the leak cup. In a couple days ago as closer trevor may tweeted if you are not paying attention to zach allen off you should be. He has eight homers in his first 29 games, the most in athletics history. Turns out he is equally impressive off the field. Your mom and dad were attorneys so what happened . I dont know it is not a bad failure story but growing up i did not really get anything past them so there were no arguments to be one. But somehow i just ended up on a baseball field. Sustained. Is that something attorneys say . I dont know. Your brother also plays baseball. You have two attorneys for parents and somehow in your genetics there a pair incredible baseball skill. I think the biggest thing is the incredible work ethic and they gave us all the tools to pick what we wanted to do and have the passion when doing it and for whatever reason we picked baseball. We went pretty hard at it trying to make a career. We saw your parents in the stands a lot. Your dad seems like a cool guy. How amazing has this been for them to watch you. How cool is this for your family to come along on this ride . It was pretty surreal just being in d. C. Around all my family and friends and for them, always getting the camera on them. I think it is pretty cool because it is because of them i would not be here without them. I love them so much. Baseball is not supposed to be this easy. I know it is not always going to be like this but how comfortable are you. I dont know if it looks easy but it really does not feel it easy at all. These are bigleague pictures and the stuff is getting nastier every year. The big thing is when you have bad days it is not because of your skill or what player you are but just part of the game. I think once you accept that it is pretty easy to move onto the next game and just do your best when he show up the next day. Where have you kept some of your keepsakes . Are you keeping those somewhere special or are they just in your clubhouse stall . . I have two baseballs and their one is my first home run but my head, which was also the first rpi and double i give to my parents so i just gave them everything and i trust them to take care of it more than me. I am always on the road. This sports report is sponsored by river rock casino. Thanks i that is it for tonight abc7news continues tomorrow morning at 5 a. M.
