Limerick s Live 95 Search By Live95 News Team The announcement of a vaccination centre in Limerick has been met with widespread criticism. Live95 reported last week that the Radisson Blu Hotel on the Ennis Road would be the vaccination centre for Limerick and yesterday the Health Minister confirmed the news. Stephen Donnelly says the 37 sites across all 26 counties were selected based on population density, ease of access, transport and parking. But Limerick Councillor Conor Sheehan doesn t believe that the site qualifies as one that is easy to access: This site is located off a busy dual carriageway on the outskirts of the city with no public transport or even provision of a footpath to walk to the site. Storm in a coffee cup as Limerick council targets unauthorised mobile vans Reporter: ); ); LIMERICK City and County Council has been criticised for pouring cold water on the plans of mobile coffee van businesses which have been operating in the city. The local authority has confirmed that planning inspectors have informed three separate traders that are not entitled to operate without permission. “There were visits to three unauthorised coffee vans, two in the Raheen area and one on O’Callaghan Strand. They were informed that they were unauthorised structures and had to cease trading with immediate effect,” said a spokesperson. ....
