A freekick from Sean Friars late on saw Town beat the FA Premiership Reserve League (Southern Section) leaders Derby. The Rams had gone ahead in the first half, but Town struck back through Logan. Friars curler sealed it.
Town finally grabbed their first away win of the season as Sheffield Wednesday were defeated 2-1 at Hillsborough. Former Owl Alan Quinn lashed in the first, before Marcus Tudgay equalised. In the second half Quinn turned provider, nodding the ball down to Alan Lee, who stabbed in the winner.
Town striker Jordan Rhodes has been named the PFA Fans Player of the Year for League Two for his loan spells with Brentford and Rochdale. The 19-year-old netted seven goals in 14 games for the Bees and two in five for Dale.
