You can get off the garden state parkway, take 78 east, get on into Newark Airport that way. Newark airport flights are not affected. New york air train is running without a problem. The people in this area will be affected for the longest period of time. This confirmation, however tragic and painful, will at least bring certainty to the families and loved ones of the 239 people on board. Experts say the main body of the plane likely sank, lightweight pieces of the wing and tail may be floating or washed ashore.
