As part of that plan, Turkish frigate TCG Gemlik, affiliated with the Naval Forces Command, will meet up with an Aircraft Carrier Task Group, led by the USS Eisenhower, in the south of Rhodes on Tuesday, according to Turkish Defense Ministry sources.

According to information published by Philippine News Agency on March 16, 2021, the French Navy has committed to assist the Philippine Navy in the creation of a submarine force, Philippine Navy chief Vice Admiral Giovanni Carlo Bacordo said on Tuesday.

Bacordo said this commitment was made during a bilateral high-level meeting between ranking officers of the PN and the French Navy in Paris on March 12.
The PN earlier said that it is looking to acquire two diesel-electric submarine units as part of its modernization plan.

The off-road mobility upgrade contract, awarded in May 2020, is valued at c. £7m and covers 12 vehicles and associated spares. It has enabled proven, heavy armoured vehicles held within the protected mobility fleet to be used to protect British Army troops in challenging operational terrains. Optimising current platforms has significantly reduced delivery timescales, ensuring the British soldiers are safer, faster.
