According to information published by U.S. Department of Defence on March 7, 2021, the Royal Navy of Oman, Royal Air Force of Oman, United Kingdom Royal Navy, France Marine Nationale and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) participated in exercise Khanjar Haad 26, Feb 21-25.

The annual Oman-led surface, air and mine countermeasures multilateral exercise is designed to strengthen capabilities in underwater diving, searching, mine identification, demolition and maritime explosive ordnance disposal operations.

Russia’s JSC Remdizel is expanding its family of Taifun-K mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles, Designer General of the company Igor Zarakhovich told the TASS news agency. According to him, Remdizel now trials more than ten modifications of the Taifun-K vehicles. “As of October 2020, we produce nine variants of the Taifun-K, including those for export, and more than ten modifications are completing their tests,” said Zarakhovich.

The enterprise tests four variants (including armed ones) of K-53949 Taifun-K 4×4 vehicles, some modifications of the K-63968 6×6 system, and the K-4386 Taifun-VDV 4×4 protected vehicle with a combat station armed with a 30mm cannon, said Zarakhovich.
Saab has received an order for deliveries of
Carl-Gustaf M4 weapons and ammunition to the Estonian Armed Forces. The order value is approximitly 100 MSEK and deliveries will take place in 2021-2022.

The order was placed within a joint-framework agreement signed with Estonia, together with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and Latvia. The framework agreement allows the Estonian customer to place orders for
Carl-Gustaf M4 weapons and ammunition during a ten- year period. The Estonian Armed Forces has been a user of the Carl-Gustaf weapon system for more than two decades.

According to information published by the InfoDefensa website on March 7, 2021, the Brazilian army has launched a request for information to modernize its fleet of EE-9 Cascavel 6x6 armored vehicles. The program foresees the modernization of 98 to 201 vehicles for a period of eight years.

The main goal of this modernization is to equip the EE-9 Cascavel of the Brazilian army with new a firing control system, a ballistic computer, implementation of an electrical turret rotation system that can be controlled by the commander. This upgrade will not include new armor for the vehicle.
The Indian Army has started training of Turkmenistan Special Forces in combat and free fall as a precursor to a series of customized courses to follow and help build capability of the Turkmenistan Special Forces.
