They need to make these mid year cuts. Cuts are not something we ever want to see. We dont want to do this, but the reality is we have to make some cuts because if we dont, if we stay in the position we are currently, in all likelihood were going into state receivership. Thats where the state would come in and make cuts without asking any questions or hearing public comment. That could be anything up to and including the closing of a number of schools immediately.
