illegally in staggering numbers. a local ranch in normandie texas, a group of nearly 400 migrants across the border illegally onto this ranch this morning. you see all the trash left behind. he says that everything you see right here has been accumulated over the past two or three days. it takes two days for them to clean the trash on the ranch right here. about 100 yards from where we are, that is the rio grande. the migrants across the border illegally. they come through this thick brush. they have a belt that is tied to the fence so they can prop it up in the migrants can crawl under. you see all this trash here because their clothing is wet. they get here and change into their dry clothing and that is when they are processed by border patrol. we have drone video i want to show you. this group crossing illegally at 7:00 a.m. local time, 8:00 a.m. eastern. a lot of cubans and colombians. probably the largest group we have seen. almost 400 in a single group is the largest we have seen this week. these are the migrants who want to be found by border patrol agents, but some don't. we have a chase that reached speeds of 140 miles per hour. the driver here is an 18-year-old from san antonio. three illegal migrants in the car. the sheriffs office said they have arrested over 100 human smugglers so far this month just in their one county alone. other counties also dealing with the same thing. take a look at this next video. texas dps chasing a human smuggler. you notice the car stops and then the driver and to illegal migrants they allow. texas dps troopers were able to arrest the driver and they apprehended the migrants who were then referred to border patrol. border patrol agents arrested to sex offenders, both of them mexican nationals found on local ranches and both sexually assaulted children. back out here live, we can report that the local ranch owner here has signed an agreement which will allow the people who cross onto their private ranch illegally to then be charged with criminal trespassing. that is a new thing that is just now happening. >> you think state charges just trespassing. arrest them and send them back. thank you. >> doctors warning of a potential triple demo this winter while covid and flu cases are expected to surge in the coming weeks. we are also seeing an alarming spike in respiratory illness in children. a highly contagious virus known as rsv is rapidly spreading among babies and toddlers. hospitalization rates for rsv are highest among babies under 12 months old. the virus is having little impact on teenagers and adults. let's bring in doctor mark siegel. also the author of covid, the politics of fear and the power of science. doctor mark, jumping right in. what is rsv and why does it attack babies and toddlers. >> well, what it is, it is a fancy name for respiratory virus that tends to affect little children, almost every young child has had it before the age of two. it clogs the upper airways. it has not been fully developed yet and is not large enough yet to be able to take the impact of that. one-2% of all babies under the age of six months, and a usual year are hospitalized with rsv. this year, we have a bigger problem. i think in a lot of other experts think that babies were not exposed to rsv previously over the last two years the way they normally were because they were wearing masks, because they were distancing, all the strategies for covid and use decrease the exposures to viruses. you have been told lightly over the last year to that you cannot stop covid by wiping down surfaces, you can stop rsv and flew by wiping down surfaces. arthel: reporting on it now, but this is not new. this does happen this time of year and it attacks toddlers, unfortunately. it is not something new. the parents can wipe down surfaces, et cetera. is there any other way that parents can protect their toddlers? >> they can be on the alert and isolate kids that are sick. you just made a great point that i want to emphasize. i'm not sure i like the term triple dammit. rsv has been around. flu has been around. we have had very mild flu seasons, now we are getting it bad one. it is a respiratory virus season that we have not seen in a while. these things can appear similarly. i have to test to differentiate which one it is. >> maybe just a triple threat. >> exactly. >> we are being warned of a severe flu season. can the flu shot really help us? >> i've always like the flu shot. people stayed only works 20-60%. it decreases your risk of hospitalization are getting really ill. this year it looks like the flu shot really matches that strain that is coming out. it is affecting little children. it is affecting very old and those with chronic diseases. we have forgotten about the flu for a while, but it is definitely something you can offer some protection without flu shot. i want more to take it. i want people to take the covid booster who are at risk and i want them to take a flu shot. >> since the novel coronavirus and covid-19 entered our society, more and more viruses have propped up. now there is rsv we are talking about. our humans weaker or are viruses stronger or are we just talking about it and reporting on viruses more? >> really well phrased. that is something that has come up a lot. i think our immune systems were diverted. our immune systems were diverted to fighting covid so they are not geared up for other respiratory viruses that we have not been or normally exposed to. children exposed to thousands of viruses a day, believe it or not. >> a variety of ways. we have a history of supporting protest movements and the like. we dated and brush russia in the cold war. it has been a checkered history at times. this is a situation where iran is not just oppressing its own people. they are supporting the russians terror throughout the middle east. this is a long-term problem. we have to take action now. we want to regime change in iran the ironic people will get it. we will help them do it. >> money talks. the biden administration expected to unveil more sanctions on iran. what about freezing assets or loans from the world bank for iranian leadership individually or as a government and perhaps any funds that are being funneled to iran from other countries. is that possible? can it still and stunt the iranian leadership? >> some of these sanctions are helpful. what we really need to do is go back to the prior administration's policy of maximum pressure. significant second party, third party sanctions on iran. that is the most effective way to really affect the regime. it brought them to the table earlier in the obama administration. we have to force their hand. the administration is not ready to push hard enough. they need to be more aggressive and they need to do it now. >> is there still a point to a mediocre gc poa, a nuclear deal with iran, is this efficient to the allies? >> never a good deal. trying to get back to it is a bad idea. 14,000 people arrested. women protesting on the streets, minors being killed. now is the time to stop this pretense that we can negotiate. they are frankly not going to keep up with their into the bargain. now is a time to throw the nuclear deal over. we are not talking to you again until you stop attacking people in your streets. >> the estimated population of ironic is 86.7 million people. the average age is 32. with these throngs of young iranians feeling like they have nothing to lose, could we be on the brink of a modern day 1970 revolution, a reversal in the name and memory. >> i think there is a real opportunity here. the young people are upset with their government. we can empower that effort. more axis to information. more access to news and resources. doing their own work which is to take over their own government and establish a regime in favor for themselves. >> how do you do that? >> a lot of it is capabilities and support. allies of the region have access to groups in iran. they have access. it takes both covert action, working through intelligent sources we need to be more aggressive. we have been talking about the ukrainians and iranian people. >> finally and quickly here. supreme leader, he wields all the power. we know this. he had surgery sometime early september for bowel obstruction after suffering extreme stomach pains and high fever. it was considered bravely ill. it is 2022. what becomes of iran after the supreme leader? >> first of all, thank you for having me. how do we make sure we are establishing a space that is safe, that we are free and fair elections. intimidation or violence or some form of voter fraud or trying to prevent from voting. it was really about how do we establish a foundation of safety and protect people's rights. the findings are consistent with our practices. making sure that we intervene if needed. documenting this in case there is a crime that is occurred. >> allowed to stay 25 feet from a dropbox. let me read in the lawsuit against the groups. these vigilante groups are response to mules. a debunk conspiracy theory in which a shadow is sprawling political cobol for absentee ballots input cement drop boxes. such mules do not exist and they are intimidating voters. defendants will continue to bully or intimidate lawful arizona voters including through the use of armed presences are doing nothing more than vote. what do you say to them was voters?
