San jose Police Officer shot in the line of duty tonight. The officer recovering in the hospital after a gunman ambushes her and her partner. City leaders this evening now expressing anger and sadness about the shooting. I am tired and angry that violence and firearms in the hands of those who shouldnt have them continue to be present in our communities , putting everyone in danger.
