Family members are saying the man that was fatally shot by police is 32yearold George Tillman. A father of five. They say this man is innocent. But police say the suspect was approached by officers early this morning. He ran away and then turned around and pointed a firearm at police. This is the gun that police say the suspect was carrying when he was shot by officers. The scene sprawled out over 116 avenue and 135 street in the of queens. You can see what may appear to be a gun on the ground. According to the nypd, the suspect was running from police when he turned back, firearm in hand. It is unknown if he fired the weapon or how many times he was shot by
