Community search for beloved pet Maisie lost in Malmesbury | Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard

THE residents of Malmesbury have united to find Maisie, a three year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who went missing last week.
Members of Make Malmesbury Even Better Facebook group have been searching the area since she escaped her new harness on Wednesday (January 27).
In addition to members sharing sightings and searches, community activist Ben Thornbury made time after school to take his drone with camera to try and find the beloved pet.
Owner Dave Burr said: We have only moved to Malmesbury six months ago and cannot express how supportive the community have been, it’s so appreciated.
Some people were having fun on Poole Road and it startled her, she escaped from her harness and ran up Tetbury Hill. ....

ONCE again Malmesbury residents will be decorating their windows to bring happiness to their neighbours during lockdown.
Following the success of the Christmas light up, Jackie Peel on the Make Malmesbury “Even” Better, Facebook page, decided to keep people smiling by arranging a theme for the new year.
The theme was inspired by a poem a local resident wrote and was named Hope Springs Eternal.
Residents are encouraged to decorate their homes with flowers, colours, rainbows, hearts or anything that makes you smile.
All decorations are being put up on January 16.
