THE residents of Malmesbury have united to find Maisie, a three year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who went missing last week. Members of Make Malmesbury Even Better Facebook group have been searching the area since she escaped her new harness on Wednesday (January 27). In addition to members sharing sightings and searches, community activist Ben Thornbury made time after school to take his drone with camera to try and find the beloved pet. Owner Dave Burr said: We have only moved to Malmesbury six months ago and cannot express how supportive the community have been, it’s so appreciated. Some people were having fun on Poole Road and it startled her, she escaped from her harness and ran up Tetbury Hill. ....
