The Kansas women’s golf team wrapped up their regular season campaign on Tuesday with an eighth-place finish at the Veritex Bank Texas Showdown at the Dallas Athletic Club.
The Kansas women’s golf team wrapped up the stroke play portion of the Veritex Bank Texas Showdown on Monday, finishing in fifth place at +1 in the eight-team field.
Playing in one of the most competitive events of the spring season, the No. 41 Kansas women’s golf team finished 15th at the PING/ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Course Phoenix. The Jayhawks carded a third-round 302 (+14) Saturday and posted a three-round score of 890 (+26).
The Kansas women's golf team climbed two spots on the leaderboard Friday after a second-round team score of 292 (+4), which put the Jayhawks in 13th place at +12 with 18 holes left to play at the PING/ASU Invitational.
