and around campus. here s tutesdutes with more. it is terrible. it s been going on for a while. it is shocking all the students. so far this year, four cell phone thefts have been reported on or around the university of baltimore campus. the most recent happened on mount vernon avenue. police asked to use the cell phone because the battery died. once the thief once the person handed cell phone over, the thief ran away. i found myself in those swayings but i know to say no because i m stingy with my phone. some people are not. they are nicer than me. you have to be careful in baltimore. midtown is not a bad neighborhood, but you still have to be careful around here. no one got hurt in any of the u.b. incidents and it is unclear if they are connected. cell phone theft rs on the rise across the country. thieves are usually after the phone for the quick sale. it is a pawn kind of thing. a local computer security expert says some thieves do more damage befo ....

our big story comes out of annapolis. opponents are getting the issue before maryland voters in november. here s kai reed. the legislation past the house and senate. the past passage of same sex maryland still faces some hurt hurdles. an approval will clear the way for bill opponents to start gathering the 55,736 signatures needed to put a same sex marriage referendum on the ballot in november. so we will allow the citizens of november to vote on whether we will have marriage between a man and a woman or whether we will expand that definition in the state. a recent the washington post poll showed 50% support while 44% are opposed to same next marriage. i think we will be successful at referendum defending the bill. i think we will defend the bill, and maryland will be the first state to win a referendum in this country. and house democratic lou klippinger from baltimore county points out that s their prerogative. lawmakers have made reference to ....
