Of the freeway off of his bike helping to drivers who had been involved in a minor accident. That is when Authorities Say a speeding suv veered off of the freeway and slammed into a ford f1 50 pickup truck. The impact lost that pickup onto the officers lower body, crushing his legs. For the damage in the way the collision occurred then he should probably be dead. And the officer managed to get himself out from under that pickup truck and called for help. And the driver that had this terrible crash was arrested on suspicion of dui. 52yearold Tammy Peggy Louise Walker is now facing charges of dui and assault on a peace officer. A chp officer is seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in the east bay. It happened on highway 4 near highway 242 in concord. Multiple cars were involved in the crash. The chp officer was responding to a crash on east bound highway 4 when he was hit. Police have not released much information about the crash but we are told that he was not on his motorcycle when he was hit. The officer was taken to the hospital with major injuries but none of the injuries are considered life threatening. It is not clear if anybody else was injured in the accident.
