The car was spotted around 2 oclock this afternoon by officers rohnert park Shopping Plaza a shortly after 3 oclock. And that is when the chase began. And the chase went down. 101 on the highway. 37 towards the east bay. But police say the suspect then. Did a uturn. Im 37 and they got back on the 101 heading south. Eventually across the bay via the richmond, sandra fell bridge. The suspect then led officers eastbound on 80 towards fairfield, which is where the standoff that is currently taking place began. The chp has issued a severe Traffic Alert due to the standoff there on interstate 80 near 6. 80, in fairfield again, all both directions of interstate 80 are currently blocked. Right .
