Five homes have sustained water damage following a water main break. Happened around 10 00 last night in the area of brussell and ordway streets. Crews have been cleaning up all morning law. Some homes had water as high as three feet. It was about that high. I opened the back door so water could escape. Still no word yet on what caused the water main break. Bart trains are finally running again after a four day strike but will they keep running after the 30day contract extension . We have the story from the west oakland bart station. They rolled in shortly after three. The first bart trains since the strike began on monday. Im happy i couldnt have done it for more than five days.
