this is the cbs evening news with scott pelley. reporting tonight from washington. pelley: good evening. the tension in the st. louis area is rising as a state grand jury gets closer to a decision on whether to indict ferguson police officer darren wilson in the fatal shooting of michael brown. today the governor declared a state of emergency and authorized the national guard to help keep the peace when that decision comes in. dean reynolds is at the courthouse in clayton, missouri. hands up. don t shoot. reporter: in 25-degree weather, protesters marched near the st. louis county courthouse today, where grand juries will soon make their decision known. 21 days and still no justice. deray mckesson is a protest organizer. we re helping people learn how to peacefully protest and disrupt systems and daily life here in st. louis as we get closer to the indictment decision, and we want to bring that disruption back to the people, back to the system that cau ....
