The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has assured IT companies in the city of ample water supply amid reports of invitations from neighboring states due to water shortages. Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board authorities recently convened a virtual meeting with IT firms to address concerns and discuss measures to mitigate the situation.
The minister s statement came shortly after the state government filed the plea in the Court, naming the Union government, the Secretary to the President of India, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, and his additional secretary as parties to the case.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan met with High Court Chief Justice A J Desai on Sunday and formulated a plan of action for establishing the judicial city at Kalamassery, the state government said. For the purpose, a land inspection will be conducted on February 17 in the presence of high court judges and state ministers, a government release said. It said the decision was taken considering the shortage of space at the present high court complex near Marine Drive inside the city of Kochi.
