A delegation of 200 victims of alleged post-poll violence, led by leader of the opposition Suvendu Adhikari, was stopped by police from entering Raj Bhavan. The delegation was stopped because of prohibitory orders in the area. Adhikari stated that the victims would move Calcutta HC on post-poll violence. Former Trinamool Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh criticized the BJP's internal issues and called the delegation an attempt to divert attention. The police action was considered unprecedented by Adhikari, who had written permission for the delegation. The area was under sec 144 CrPC, allowing only five persons inside.
