Palakkad (Kerala), May 7 (PTI) An adult female wild elephant died late on Monday night near Kanjikode here after being hit by a train making it the second such incident within a month in the district.
Thiruvananthapuram, May 6 (PTI) A local court here on Monday directed the Kerala police to register a case against city Mayor Arya Rajendran, her husband and MLA, Sachin Dev and three others based on a complaint lodged by the driver of a state-run transport bus alleging that they had blocked the vehicle and obstructed his duty.
After the state secretariat meeting, party state secretary M V Govindan told the media that the meeting discussed the revelations against Jayarajan, who is the convenor of Left Democratic Front in Kerala.
