When the pit bull first ran up, it seemed like any other dog they would meet during a walk. I thought it was friendly, so my dog was playing with it a little bit. But then it latched its claws on and started ripping away. At the time he was mad and in denial. I wasnt able to accept the fact he was gone, so i was kind of a wreck. Especially after learning the pit bull had attacked another dog four years ago and was deemed dangerous by animal control. But it lost that designation after going three years without a follow up attack. This time around, animal control put the pit bull down and kaylush had a change of heart. I felt bad not only our dog died but their dog had to die too. I didnt want us to have to take revenge on their family. Instead, he is calling for a public registry of dangerous dogs that they stay on forever. If a dog attacks another dog, it shouldnt be a temporary record. It should be permanent for life so that people know that its happened before and so maybe itll help
