You have the public pressure on the israeli prime minister. you have the opposition leader, you have lapid s saying this is an important so deal on the table that needs to be taken. and yet you have on the far right of the coalition resistance to this kind of deal being accepted there was a war cabinet meeting on the israeli side on sunday night. we don t have exact details about what was discussed, but i think it s fair to guess that this would have been one of the top things on the agenda. and we also heard from the defense minister saying and it was important that a day after the war that hamas was in no way in control. so it appears that israel is now looking towards the end of the war and what gaza would look like after that. so at this point the us appears hopeful. we know that over the weekend that had been many phone calls made by the secretary of state, two ....
