The state will observe light to moderate rainfall between 02nd and 04th September. Intensity and the spread will increase later from 05th to 09th September. Central and northern parts of the state may get heavy rainfall at few places during this period.
The state of Kerala is all set to see heavy rains in the coming four days. There have been moderate rains during the last 24 hours. Rains will begin today, tomorrow will be heavier with the most amount of rains likely to be seen on August 31.
Kerala has not been able to catch up with the deficiency and remains deficient with a shortfall of 21 percent as of now. But we can expect some rains today with heavy spells, tomorrow also similar conditions may be seen.
Average rainfall for Kerala is highest among the southern States. Therefore, to maintain the status quo, Kerala needs moderate to heavy rainfall to continue for days together. But this scenario does not seem to be possible during rest of the monsoon period.
Kerala rains news: The digital locker is a facility envisaged by the union IT Ministry as part of the Digital India programme to help citizens store their personal as well as government documents in the digital format, an official statement said.
