Crews say they will not be able to make major changes until the rainy season is over in st helena overflowing rainwater and runoff exploded from the napa river spillway. Suspected in the shooting of an eightyearold boy. These 32yearold james jared a1 . 1 million warrant has been issued at this moment for his arrest. The driveby shooting happened as the boy was playing in the front yard of his home near you buchanan field. A silver honda came up and the man inside just opened fire. Thing the boy in the shoulder. He was rushed to surgery and this morning is expected to be okay. Investigators are not sure if the boy himself was the intended target. They dont believe the shooting is gang related. It is sad and we want to get we want to know why. Why they would shoot especially with children in front of house. He still on the loose this morning. Hes considered to be armed and dangerous. Boy is at Childrens Hospital in oakland where he is in stable condition. The search is on for the burglar who broke into the home of a San Francisco sheriff deputy estel entire lot box full of weapons and police equipment. California banks since february. Police say ellis would give the teller a demand note and leave with the cash. James saw these pictures on the news and says thats how he recognized him. Not to mention, theres two banks in this shopping center. He was like looking at the light poles. And im like i thought he was looking into the sky and theres nothing but blue sky and i thought, is he looking for cameras . James immediately called 911 and Brentwood Police arrested ellis two hours later in a nearby residential neighborhood. They were able to track him because james managed to get ellis license plate number. Helpful, since ellis managed to shave his head and beard after james spotted him.
