California banks since february. Police say ellis would give the teller a demand note and leave with the cash. James saw these pictures on the news and says thats how he recognized him. Not to mention, theres two banks in this shopping center. He was like looking at the light poles. And im like i thought he was looking into the sky and theres nothing but blue sky and i thought, is he looking for cameras . James immediately called 911 and Brentwood Police arrested ellis two hours later in a nearby residential neighborhood. They were able to track him because james managed to get ellis license plate number. Helpful, since ellis managed to shave his head and beard after james spotted him. We believe that he did that to try and conceal his identity because maybe people knew that they were onto him. Reporter what do you think about having a hand to capture this guy .
