Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 20 (EMN): Vafümei Gaziphema FC blanked Infinite FC 4-0 in Thursday’s first match of the ongoing NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy to sail through the quarter-final round. Dairhü scored a brace while Rowland and Veshalou contributed a goal each for Gaziphema to claim victory. Sikho Thou, organising committee member, awarded the man of the match to Veishalou of Gaziphema. In the second match, Ura Uvie booked their quarter-final berth with a comprehensive margin of 11-0 over SWAT FC. Kohima Super Cup: Barak FC enter final - Eastern Mirror

Our Correspondent Kohima, May 28 (EMN): Barak FC on Saturday defeated G-Sports FC to enter the final of the 4th Kohima Super Cup played at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS) in Kohima. Barak FC rode on their luck as they beat G-Sports FC via penalties 5-3 after the match ended in a 3-3 draw. In the most anticipated semi-final match, Elminhao Kilong Kuki scored the first goal in the 13th minute for Barak FC, which was then equalised in the next minute by Menguzelie Rutsa for G-Sports in the 14th minute. Winamthiu scored another goal for Barak FC in the 73th minute yet Temjenwati added a goal in the 80th minute for G-Sports FC to make it 2-2 during the stipulated time. During the extra time, the match was evenly poised as Kekhrieletuo Tsira of G-Sports FC scored but Baoringdao Bodo scored again to equalise the score 3-3 to decide the winner via a penalty shootout.
