Goodrich. Im brian hackney. We have a live look at doyle drive or whats left of what was doyle drive. The construction has been going on for six years. Now its in the home stretch. Crews are racing to get the work done by monday morning. Right now, they are pouring concrete and paving the roadway. The concrete is a quick set variety and if all goes as planned it will be cured by tomorrow morning. Workers also need to install medians and striping along the new parkway before they can open it up to traffic. It will happen in different stages. But that will be sunday before we really see any striping. We may even wait until its already done. Work is still on schedule even after rain. A big crowd made it to the presidio for a special ceremony today despite the doyle drive closure. Mayor lee and other dignitaries broke ground on the new korean war memorial. It will be built at lincoln and sheridan. The project has been years in the making and the presidio has a strong connection to it. More ....
This family lives above a chain east take out restaurant they own but it is no longer open for business right now they run several food trucks around the city. Really scared. This 30 year old woman describes the frantic call she got from her mother around 11 30 this morning. Two guys open the windows they come in. Were not showing her face to protect the family. She just say the guy take the guns to come to go to the second floor, say in danger, and call 911. She says her mom was home on the 2700 block of herb street in south philly watching her four year oath daughter, two year old son while she was at work. She believes two suspects climbed a tree on the side of the house, to get in through second floor window which they allegedly broke. Used a gun to point at my mom.
