The first video at the height of that monster storm is just coming in. Stormteam 5 meteorologist Danielle Vollmar is tracking its path. And she joins us now. Danielle . Danielle thats right, karen. I was a very strong storm earlier in the week. In fact, the strongest hurricane on record in both the eastern pacific and the Atlantic Basin but since then, coming inland it has weakened. Now a category one hurricane with winds of just 75 miles an hour and gusts up to about 90 miles an hour. It is also moving pretty quickly to the north and east at about 21 miles an hour. Now its already brought a lot of rain for parts of mexico. Anywhere from about 10 to 11 inches in spots. And expected in the next 24 hours to bring any with from 812 inches in mexico. Then it travels north and feeds tropical moisture into texas. This is one area under flash flood watches this morning because of another system that does not need any of the rain.
