Since that declaration, the county Health Officer issued a stateathome order followed by the governor of the state of california doing the same. Furthermore, the mayor and governor have issued emergency orders suspending select laws applicable to boards and missions making it possible to hold this Commission Hearing remotely. On april 3, 2020, the Planning Commission received authorization from the Mayors Office to reconvene through the end of the shelterinplace order.
