Furthermore, the mayor and governor have issued emergency orders suspending select laws applicable to boards and missions making it possible to hold this Commission Hearing remotely. On april 3, 2020, the Planning Commission received authorization from the Mayors Office to reconvene through the end of the shelterinplace order. Recogniseing that the commissions consideration of certain projects is an essential government operation, and that the authorization directs the commission to prioritize consideration of action items pertaining to infrastructure housing and small business.
