Weve commented not only on the Student Assignment, but at the september 14th meeting for the Budget Service committee, where we saw the transportation presentation. The recurring theme here between Student Assignment and transportation is that the inequity is a cost driver. The fact that we dont have supports and services and programs at all of our schools means that Going Forward [simultaneous talking] our students have to be driven across town in some cases to get the appropriate program. And we have routes that go across the ba ....
We said that from beginning and i stand behind that and people ultimately have to understand the risk that what is implied in asking them to come back and right now we need emphasis. And families that have the privilege to safely work from home. I understand all the guides, but this is definitely safety first, safety number one. And the School District has gone above and beyond in enhancing our crisis learning plan during this time. We are working on making it better and hearing families and including them that is to empower families and reach out to them and make the learning at home as seamless as possible given the fact that we are in a pandemic. There is no way around that and no way even know and for me to trust the dfl department of Public Health during the time that we have been tegs communities and seeing the results and seeing the lack of support once they are tested ....

Team. Can i comment . Yes, please. I did leave it high level to work identifying who would sit on that task force. So, i did not specify it but depending on the discussion here with my colleagues, they feel it would be best serving. Its the super inten department is creating the task force, not lowell in and of itself. So, just president sanchez, i would be supportive of examining and evaluating the letter that i had read into the record including evaluating the culture. Sorry if im dragging this on. Since its made by the superintendent, would it ensure student representation is on this task force . Yes. Yes, is this dated in the amendment. It has including but not limited to students, families, educators, administrators and communitybased organizations. Students are first mentioned. So, to clarify, like, im just, theres a letter but im not clear on how specifically the staff is supposed to implement the task force based on a letter that was not written for this purpose. So im confused ....

There was a question about this at the public hearing and in the and in the previous draft of the learning continuity plan and we had highlighted that we were pending clarification from the c. D. E. About the actions and expenditures. So i just wanted to take a moment to clarify, to explain that clarification, and the response that we have received. So we wanted to confirm that the actions and the expenditures that are at the bottom of each major section of the plan, we wanted to make sure that we were approaching that process correctly. And so the clarification that we received is that we should be considering both learning loss mitigation funds and lcff funds in our plan. But we do not need to include all of both of those sources.
