[email protected] JOHNSTOWN A Gloversville man was recently sentenced in Fulton County Court to up to six years in state prison in a burglary case. Malik M. Hyde, 20, of 34 E. Eighth Ave., was sentenced Jan. 26 by Judge Polly A. Hoye to two to six years in prison, as part of a plea arrangement. He also received credit for time served, he must make restitution, and a stay away order was granted. The sentence was based on his guilty plea Nov. 17, 2020 before Polly A. Hoye to third-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Hyde faced arrest warrants on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief by Gloversville police on July 8, 2020 at 3:45 p.m. ....
[email protected] JOHNSTOWN A Broadalbin sex offender is going back to jail after failing to verify his address with authorities. Percy Allen, 45, formerly of Fremont Street in Gloversville, pleaded guilty Jan. 11 in Fulton County Court before Judge Polly A. Hoye. He pleaded guilty as part of a plea arrangement to felony failure to verify address within 90 days as a Level 3 sex offender. He currently lives in Broadalbin. Sentencing was adjourned until a later date, but he is expected to receive one year in the Fulton County Correctional Facility. Gloversville police arrested Allen at 4:15 pm. on Nov. 4, 2020. At that time he was charged with failure to register a change of address as a sex offender by city police. At the time, police said that Allen failed to report a change of address within 10 days between Oct. 19 and 29, 2020 as required under the state Sex Offender Registration Act. ....
[email protected] JOHNSTOWN A Gloversville man who admitted to a residential burglary is going to spend a year in the Fulton County Correctional Facility. Emmanuel J. Correa, 24, of 81 Washington St., Apt. 13, pleaded guilty Dec. 8 in Fulton County Court before Judge Polly A. Hoye to one count of third-degree burglary, as part of a plea arrangement. Sentencing will be at a later date, but according to the plea, he is expected to receive a year in the county jail. He also must make restitution and an order of protection will be ordered for his victim. Correa was arrested July 2 by Gloversville police at 4:21 p.m., charged with second-degree burglary. ....
