Definitely a traumatic injury. Rescue teams say a 40year old homeless man was on foot at Guadalupe Reservoir and slipped and fell sometime before midnight last night. They say he fell some 10 feet and broke his leg. If you look carefully you can see blood on his pant leg. That man had the wherewithal to use a light to try to flag down a passing vehicle. He did not have a mobile phone and was stranded on the far side of the reservoir. Firefighters estimate he was about 150 yards away from ricks road when he used hicks road when he used that light to gather the attention of a carload of students who were driving by. They were home for the holiday when they saw the man in need.
