the city is saying they will put new safeguards in place in dallas. as my team and emergent on the scene with the doctor on with the patient who might have ebola virus. the patient is being moved by ambulance to a hospital. nurses on the front line caring for the sick say they need more training for ebola exposure. after a recent scare at a south sacramento kaiser hospital, where a patient with ebola symptoms sat in an emergency room for nearly two hours, nurses gathered in oakland telling kron 4 s alecia reid many of them aren t prepared to treat such a case. if an ebola infected patient walks into this hospital, nurses here don t believe they have sufficient training to handle it safely. this is a virus that is changing very quickly and we want to have the most optimal protection. caregivers that aren t being adequately trained are being blamed. we re hearing that they aren t following protocol, when we ve been asking hospitals throughout the country for proper training
