Doctors with the state department of Public Health say they dont know yet why the h1n1 strain of the virus is impacting so many young people, but they are studying it to try to figure that question out. And they say that right now, they are investigating 28 flu deaths in the entire state, all of them were reported since january 4th. All in the last week. So, 11 in the bay area, 28 across the state. Its not just here in california. Nationwide, 35 states are reporting widespread flu activity. Thats ten more states than just last week. An East San Jose neighborhood worried tonight that an arsonist could be targeting the area. Seven of those clustered within just a few blocks, which is raising suspicious.
