Stolen vehicle operation. They noticed a pair of women driving away in a stolen car. They attempted to do a vehicle stop on the stolen car. The driver did leave them on pursuit. That led them to oak elk road. To the task force is comprised of chp, sheriff and probation officers. They went back before noon to search the room where the women were saying. Through the investigators came back. They conducted a probation search. The suspect ring shots through the front door. They went through the wall. The gunmen tried to escape from the balcony. Then this happened. The gunmen shot Deputy Robert french. An officer, killed in the line of duty. They were unaware of the shooting. I heard the popping sound. The car caught one of the bullets next to the gas tank. To the gunmen then drove away. Swat members checks to make sure no more suspects were inside.
