this as the first shipment of the vaccines arrive in maryland. hello everyone i m vic carter. and i m denise koch. the number of cases of swine flu is spreading in maryland but now there is a weapon. kelly mcpherson found out the first vaccines have arrived. reporter: maryland general hospital nurses and doctors received the first public dozes of the first new h1n1 vaccine. if it s good for my patients, it s good for me. it s very important, i have a small baby at home, i definitely don t want to take anything back to her. reporter: at the vincent high school, three confirmed cases and 20% of the student body out of class triggers a school closure. 100 students out of 500 is significant. reporter: this school is taking a day of precaution on its own. make sure the building is thoroughly cleaned. all the surfaces and then try to be proactive after that will put us ahead of the game. reporter: this is the first state school to shut down. i don t think
