good for my patients, it's good for me. >> it's very important, i have a small baby at home, i definitely don't want to take anything back to her. >> reporter: at the vincent high school, three confirmed cases and 20% of the student body out of class triggers a school closure. >> 100 students out of 500 is significant. >> reporter: this school is taking a day of precaution on its own. >> make sure the building is thoroughly cleaned. all the surfaces and then try to be proactive after that will put us ahead of the game. >> reporter: this is the first state school to shut down. >> i don't think a day of closure is going to help. you're going to wash the whole school in one day, and it's going to come back and close it again? i don't think it's going to help at all. >> i think it's good that they're going to clean up the act and make sure they control it. >> it's a good idea to shut down the school, clean up the place and make sure it's clean before the kids come back. >> reporter: the department plans to have 800,000 vaccines on-site. >> that may change up or down, all depending upon the manufacturers ability to get the vaccine produced and into the hands of the distributors. >> there's no scientific evidence to believe that this vaccine will be unsafe because it's manufactured in the same way that we do regular seasonal flu vaccines. >> reporter: of course, there are dozes for the seasonal flu vaccine all over the state being distributed right now. you can get them at local clinics, h1n1 vaccine they say the state will keep bidding for that every day in northeast baltimore. sky traffic 13 was on the scene at the intersection of east 26th street and heartford right. the woman was crossing the street when the truck hit her. she died at the scene. police are now investigating. new at 11:00, a new state bill may impact the enbattled organization acorn. you may remember the group was investigated after a hidden camera scandal. the video posted on you tube appear to show acorn workers giving advice to a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute on how to avoid paying taxes. the state insists it has not received any state payer money. you can read more in tomorrow's baltimore sun. an unusual investigation, a child barely a -day-old disappeared at night only to be found a short distance from home siting in a car. how police say the toddler got there. >> reporter: this imagine of a happy healthy 14 -month-old cory green jr. is just the opposite of what neighbors saw when they found him early tuesday morning. alone, shivering in kenneth allison's parked car. >> he was crying, tears in his eyes, just little crying baby. sad looking. i didn't know what to do. >> reporter: police say a child relative of the toddler who lives in the same house took him down the street about 2:00 in the morning and put him into elliss unparked car. the unthinkable act, an act of retaliation against the parents. >> at this point, i want to be clear at this point, we don't believe any charges are going to be filed. but there are some questions that we still need answered. >> reporter: police are not relegalling any de -- are not releasing any details about this relative. but neighbors say she is one of little cory's sisters. his aunt grateful the outcome was not worse, neighbors glad the car was unlocked. >> these type of incidents on our way, it's like a blessing. >> glad they didn't find him in a trash can or on the side of the road. or the wrong person's car, if the wrong person may have found him, the baby may have been hurt or something. >> reporter: the department of social services continue to work with police and all children are safe and accounted for. we're reporting in northeast baltimore tonight, wei -- weijia jiang. -- while they're not sure what caused the illness, the case is closed. two student groups are on opposite side when it comes to the use of a campaign slogan. the slogan reads nine out of ten hopkins samurai are voting and then names the candidate. no charges have been filed in that case, the investigation continues. maryland is about to lead the way again, this time by creating policy on pornography on its state campuses. according to our media partner at the sun. many politicians were upset about pornography being shown on a campus that receives public money. you can read more in tomorrow morning's baltimore sun. d.c. united it's washington major league soccer team. but sheila davis wants their stadium to be right here. why the mayor thinks this is such a good idea, kai jackson reports. >> reporter: major sheila dixon is rolling out the red carpets. major league soccer teams teams chelsea of england and milan went head to head. >> the chelsea-milan soccer match was very successful here in the city started the ball rolling. >> reporter: now the mayor has kicked the ball to the stadium authority. asking the agency for a feasibility study that would check the economics and practicality of building a stadium in baltimore. with this parcel as a proposed location. a place for the d.c. united soccer team to play. they've been looking for a new home. in her pitch to the maryland stadium authority, mayor sheila dixon says a new stadium in baltimore could be a green mixed use project with access to light rail and the highways and access to the existing home of the orioles and ravens. the mayor says the stadium could also be used for lacrosse, concerts and other events. >> it's a good idea, we have a fan base for soccer down here. >> reporter: the baltimore economists say a new stadium would generate jobs and revenue. >> over the course of the seasons, new moneys coming in to the city. >> great, more revenue for i guess the city, right? >> are you a soccer fan? >> a little bit, yeah. >> reporter: and again this is just a request to the maryland stadium authority for a feasibility study. there's nothing concrete about this at this time. >> halderman the man accused of trying to blackmail letterman says there is more to the story. according to the new york time, halderman's lawyer says he will introduce evidence in court that shows letterman sexually harassed staff members. letterman made an on air apology last night to his wife and staffers. well actor, director, producer, writer tyler perry is breaking his silence tonight for the first time. he is telling fans how he was sexually, physically and emotionally abused as a child. perry who recently produced the movie precious that deals with abuse opened up about his own abuse. he says his father brutally beat him with an extension cord and that he was molested by a man and woman at a young age. he says his ability to forgive is what kept him going. currently d.c. recognizes same-sex marriages performed in other states, but the law doesn't go far enough to actually allow same-sex couples to miles marry within the district. the bill is expected to pass the counsel, but it still has to get through congress which could overturn any district legislation. police say 51-year-old john palmer jr., 22 samuel goldstein posed as father and son as more than 10 open houses. while one distracted the real estate agent, the other searched for valuables. they were caught after several realtors gave good descriptions to police. >> i was very angry that it over the weekend and charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. the death of a dancer with the washington ballet has prompted attention. the intersection where she was killed will be tonight. pretty balmy. right now winds out of the north, but regularly we've seen a southerly wind. but the winds tomorrow will be a major factor, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. we have a wind advisory from cecil county to pennsylvania. we could see winds gusts up to 35 knots tomorrow. we're talking 30, 40-miles-per- hour in some locations. we have a wind advisory in effect for much of the day tomorrow. it's dragging this front across the region overnight during the morning hours. once it gets through the region, it'll dry out quickly, the sun will be out but it's going to get quite windy by tomorrow afternoon. high pressure down to the south. big dome of high pressure and to the north. in the north it's going to squeeze the atmosphere, that's what's going to be producing the winds. another system could bring us some showers friday night early saturday morning. mostly the period pretty decent weather. we still have a little tropical storm. by thursday morning it's expected to be a remnant low. very little to deal with. although it has winds now about 45. it will not affect any land mass whatsoever. so we'll be saying goodbye to henri. a little rain coming in early
