officers involved in the shooting of breonna taylor. the police chief now coming out and calling this all a shock to the conscience. taylor was shot eight times and killed by officers in her home on march 13th. officers burst into her apartment using a no knock warrant during a narcotics investigation. no drugs were found at her home. she was studying to become a nurse. the fbi is back at her apartment today gathering evidence. what we know right now about the case against detective hankison is from a pretermination letter from the police chief which says the detective violated two standard operating procedures, obedience to rules and regulations and use of deadly force. firing into a window and patio door that were covered. so he couldn t even see what or who was inside. neither the chief or mayor is taking any questions right now. unfortunately due to a from vision in state law that i very much would like to see changed. both the chief and i are precluded from talki ....

winds and dry hot conditions. they are expecting it to grow again today. this is obviously a dangerous fire. we have no containment and we have extreme fire behavior. that fire behavior, they are facing dry conditions with low humidity and high temperatures. those temperatures reaching into the triple digits. overnight, it tripled in size and at last report supports scorched 24 square miles. that is half the size of the city of san francisco. it is burning on both sides of interstate 5. the only highway connecting oregon to california. truck drivers had to abandon 17 big rigs as those flames approached. four of those trucks were destroyed along with their loads. chp says agencies will meet to discuss if and when they can reopen interstate 5, a critical route for commercial truckers. we will continue to monitor this fire and keep you up dated on air and on our social media. thank you. you can see where the fire is burning as we show you this map. that is the fire ....
