live, from the cbs bay area studios, this is kpix5 news. breaking news tonight. a wild chase and crash and this is how it ended in downtown san francisco. i m brian hackney. and i m elizabeth cook. andria borba just got to the scene tonight. what could you tell us? reporter: well, liz, brian, we are told this all started somewhere near the corner of hyde and broadway with an armed robbery. that led to a car chase through the streets of san francisco. at least one other vehicle was hit and it ended down here where a pedestrian was hit near the corner of california and kurney. the suspect ditched the car and ran away on foot. we believe they were headed to the bay bridge. san francisco police are not saying a lot at this time, but there are multiple crime scenes through the city as the photographer and i were coming here. there was a crime scene a block west of the ritz carlton. many parts of the street are blocked off. a lot of crime scene tape. the san francisco ....
