Seniors defeat Twin Cities at districts

The North Platte FNBO Seniors scored three runs in the sixth inning to pull ahead of Twin Cities and win 5-3 on Sunday in the Area 7 tournament in Kearney.
Next, North Platte (32-18) will play in their third straight elimination game of the tournament when they take on Kearney (20-14) on Monday at 6 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to the state tournament as one of the top two teams in the district.
Against Twin Cities (20-26), North Platte went ahead when Carsen Johnson scored on a wild pitch by Hunter McCollum in the first inning. ....
