Before we begin, i want to express our support for and thoughts and prayers for all the victims of the recent hushrricas and most recently in florida and our colleague in the Ranking Member on this committee, senator nelson. He and senator rubio are there today as they should be, and looking out for the needs of their constituents and so again, we certainly want to express our support, prayers for them and for the people of florida as they deal with a horrific storm and its aftermath. This committee has been working for some time in a bipartisan fashion to address the advancement of Autonomous Vehicles.
