bay. one man is dead after an overnight police shooting. the issue started late last night at a home on mount frazier drive. officers recieved a call about a family disturbance. a father and son were arguing with each other.. police say when they got to the home. the 28-year-old son came out of the garage and charged at one of the officer s with kitchen knives in both hands. that s when one of the officer s fired his gun. good morning, everyone. i m kendis gibson. and i m adrienne bankert in for diane macedo. we re going to have more on those stories in a moment. but first we have first breaking and potentially a huge development in the fight against terror. russia claims it may have killed the leader of isis. the russian defense ministry is trying to find out if abu bakr al baghdadi was killed three weeks ago in a russian air strike in syria. the u.s., however, has not confirmed these details. but this comes as isis continues to lose territory in iraq and syria. for years al baghdadi has been one of the world s most wanted men. a $25 million reward from the u.s. for info leading to his capture. the last public video of baghdadi was from a mosque in mosul back in 2014. and apparently he has been on the run quite a bit since then. again, russia this morning says we ll continue to stay on top of this breaking story and brian ross and martha raddatz will have more on good morning ....
